Commitment
Accessibility
What we have built in, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us.
This site is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. A fashion site is image-heavy by nature; that is not a reason for it to be unusable.
What is implemented
- Every decorative and content image carries appropriate alternative text, and purely decorative artwork is hidden from assistive technology.
- All motion — page transitions, image sequencing, parallax, grain and the custom cursor — is disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion.
- Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus indicator, a skip link, and Escape closing the menu and image viewer.
- Semantic landmarks and headings, one
h1per page, and labelled form fields with required states announced. - Body text meets AA contrast on both the obsidian and ivory surfaces; interactive states do not rely on colour alone.
- The site works without JavaScript: navigation, content and forms remain reachable, and forms fall back to email contact.
- Layout reflows to 320 px without horizontal scrolling, and text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content.
Known limitations
- Placeholder portfolio artwork carries generic alternative text. Descriptive alt text is written per image when licensed photography replaces it.
- Video and showreel content is not yet present; captions and transcripts will ship with it.
- An independent accessibility audit is scheduled before public launch, and this statement will be updated with its findings.
